Normen-ABC als Uebersicht

Dieses Video dient der Motivation, sich mit Normenthemen zu befassen. Mit dem Internationalen Normenklassifizierung System (ICS) wird begründet, warum Normenkompetenz für alle Studierenden aller Studiengänge oder Berufstätigen jeder Fachrichtung von A-Z wichtig ist. Dazu werden Nützlichkeitsbeispiele gegeben. Abschließend wird das Normen-ABC als Übersicht vorgestellt und welche Lern- und Lehrziele die einzelnen Videos haben.
Für die Entwicklung steuerungstechnischer Sicherheitsfunktionen muss ab 2012 die Normen EN ISO 13849-1 oder EN 62061 befolgt werden, die sowohl Anforderungen an die Hardware als auch Anforderungen an die Software beschreibt. Die Anforderungen an die Software spielten bis vor einigen Jahren kaum eine Rolle, da Sicherheitsfunktionen vorzugsweise in Hardware realisiert wurden. Heutzutage ist es jedoch sehr häufig üblich, Sicherheitsfunktionen mit einer dafür geeigneten programmierbaren SPS zu realisieren. Die neuen Normen bzgl. der sicheren Steuerung von Maschinen verlangen neben der Quantifizierung der Hardware-Ausfallraten von Sicherheitsfunktionen noch ein Management der Sicherheitsfunktionen. Dazu gehört auch ein Management der Softwareentwicklung für Sicherheitsfunktionen, um systematische Fehler zu minimieren. Dieses Management der Softwareentwicklung wird im Wesentlichen durch das V-Modell repräsentiert. Für die Maschinebauindustrie darf dieser Managementprozess nicht zu aufwendig sein, ansonsten wird dieser in der Praxis nur schwer angenommen. Eine Möglichkeit der Abarbeitung des V-Modells wird vorgestellt. Wahrscheinlich ist diese aufgezeigte Möglichkeit für die Industrie noch zu aufwendig.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact that various types of business model extensions (hospitality and tourism, online sales platforms, and sustainability) have on the winery business. The research is based on company data and online observations of N = 886 German wineries and deploys a content analysis, netnography, and structural equation modeling (SEM) in order to test the hypothesis on business model extensions of wineries, which have been set forth in the previous literature. The findings indicate that business model extensions related to online sales platforms have a positive impact on winery business size. These results mean that developing online sales platforms enlarges the winery BM (business model) size and type (manager-run, state-owned, or cooperatives). The paper presents in detail the impact of winery BM extensions on winery BM model type and size, thereby contributing to the literature on business model innovation.

Der Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaftler Hektor Haarkötter hat die erste Kulturgeschichte des Notizzettels geschrieben und gleichzeitig eine Philosophie dieses unscheinbaren Mediums verfasst. Denn Notizzettel – Einkaufszettel, Spickzettel, Schmierzettel, Skizzen, Entwürfe, Karteikarten, Haftnotizen, Wandkritzeleien – sind der erste Haltepunkt vom Gedanken zum Geschriebenen: Ich denke, also notiere ich. Novel Automated Three-Dimensional Genome Scanning Based on the Nuclear Architecture of Telomeres

This thesis explores novel haptic user interfaces for touchscreens, virtual and remote environments (VE and RE). All feedback modalities have been designed to study performance and perception while focusing on integrating an additional sensory channel - the sense of touch. Related work has shown that tactile stimuli can increase performance and usability when interacting with a touchscreen. It was also shown that perceptual aspects in virtual environments could be improved by haptic feedback. Motivated by previous findings, this thesis examines the versatility of haptic feedback approaches. For this purpose, five haptic interfaces from two application areas are presented. Research methods from prototyping and experimental design are discussed and applied. These methods are used to create and evaluate the interfaces; therefore, seven experiments have been performed. All five prototypes use a unique feedback approach. While three haptic user interfaces designed for touchscreen interaction address the fingers, two interfaces developed for VE and RE target the feet. Within touchscreen interaction, an actuated touchscreen is presented, and study shows the limits and perceptibility of geometric shapes. The combination of elastic materials and a touchscreen is examined with the second interface. A psychophysical study has been conducted to highlight the potentials of the interface. The back of a smartphone is used for haptic feedback in the third prototype. Besides a psychophysical study, it is found that the touch accuracy could be increased. Interfaces presented in the second application area also highlight the versatility of haptic feedback. The sides of the feet are stimulated in the first prototype. They are used to provide proximity information of remote environments sensed by a telepresence robot. In a study, it was found that spatial awareness could be increased. Finally, the soles of the feet are stimulated. A designed foot platform that provides several feedback modalities shows that self-motion perception can be increased.
Recent approaches in scaffold engineering for bone defects feature hybrid hydrogels made of a polymeric network (retains water and provides light and porous structures) and inorganic ceramics (add mechanical strength and improve cell-adhesion). Innovative scaffold materials should also induce bone tissue formation and incorporation of stem cells (osteogenic differentiation) and/or growth factors (inducing/supporting differentiation). Recently, purinergic P2X and P2Y receptors have been found to significantly influence the osteogenic differentiation process of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC). (1) Aim of this work is to develop polysaccharide (PS) composites to be used as scaffolds containing complementary receptor ligands to enable guided stem cell differentiation towards bone formation.
Nudging stellt eine Methode zur positiven Verhaltensbeeinflussung unserer Mitmenschen dar. Mit diesem Instrument kann das Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsverhalten von Arbeitnehmern gestärkt werden. Allerdings findet sie trotz intensiver Forschung bislang wenig Anwendung im betrieblichen Kontext. Daher lautet die Forschungsfrage dieser Arbeit: „Wie lässt sich Nudging seitens der Unternehmen als Präventionsmaßnahme während der Corona-Pandemie einsetzen?“. Mit der Übertragung von Nudging in der Arbeitswelt auf die derzeitigen Herausforderungen der aktuellen Corona-Pandemie leistet diese Arbeit einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Entwicklung neuer Präventionsmaßnahmen in Unternehmen. In der Arbeit konnte festgestellt werden, dass die Entwicklung von Nudges im Unternehmen unter Einbeziehung der Mitarbeiter in einem proaktiven und partizipativen Prozess stattfinden sollte. Mithilfe eines solchen Prozesses werden Gründe für das mögliche Fehlverhalten der Arbeitnehmer analysiert. Anschließend sollten Nudging-Techniken eingesetzt werden, die genau an diesen Punkten anknüpfen – am Fehlverhalten der Menschen. Über den partizipativen Nudging-Prozess wird die Akzeptanz der Arbeitnehmer im Hinblick auf etwaige Maßnahmen gefördert. Es wird am reflektierten Entscheidungssystem der Arbeitnehmer angesetzt. Unter Berücksichtigung der Corona-Pandemie sollte im betrieblichen Kontext zur Förderung des Sicherheitsverhaltens besonders auf den Wirkmechanismus „Norms“ gesetzt werden. Im Home-Office eignen sich aufgrund der Distanz zu den Arbeitnehmern Nudges mit technischer Natur, wie z.B. automatisierte Anmeldungen zu Maßnahmen des Gesundheitsmanagements. Hier greift der Wirkmechanismus „Defaults“. Diese Bachelorarbeit wurde als theoretische Arbeit auf Grundlage einer Literaturrecherche verfasst.
Nur die halbe Wahrheit?

This project focuses on object detection in dense volume data. There are several types of dense volume data, namely Computed Tomography (CT) scan, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This work focuses on CT scans. CT scans are not limited to the medical domain; they are also used in industries. CT scans are used in airport baggage screening, assembly lines, and the object detection systems in these places should be able to detect objects fast. One of the ways to address the issue of computational complexity and make the object detection systems fast is to use low-resolution images. Low-resolution CT scanning is fast. The entire process of scanning and detection can be made faster by using low-resolution images. Even in the medical domain, to reduce the rad iation dose, the exposure time of the patient should be reduced. The exposure time of patients could be reduced by allowing low-resolution CT scans. Hence it is essential to find out which object detection model has better accuracy as well as speed at low-resolution CT scans. However, the existing approaches did not provide details about how the model would perform when the resolution of CT scans is varied. Hence in this project, the goal is to analyze the impact of varying resolution of CT scans on both the speed and accuracy of the model. Three object detection models, namely RetinaNet, YOLOv3, and YOLOv5, were trained at various resolutions. Among the three models, it was found that YOLOv5 has the best mAP and f1 score at multiple resolutions on the DeepLesion dataset. RetinaNet model h as the least inference time on the DeepLesion dataset. From the experiments, it could be asserted that sacrificing mean average precision (mAP) to improve inference time by reducing resolution is feasible.
Entering the work envelope of an industrial robot can lead to severe injury from collisions with moving parts of the system. Conventional safety mechanisms therefore mostly restrict access to the robot using physical barriers such as walls and fences or non-contact protective devices including light curtains and laser scanners. As none of these mechanisms applies to human-robot-collaboration (HRC), a concept in which human and machine complement one another by working hand in hand, there is a rising need for safe and reliable detection of human body parts amidst background clutter. For this application camera-based systems are typically well suited. Still, safety concerns remain, owing to possible detection failures caused by environmental occlusion, extraneous light or other adverse imaging conditions. While ultrasonic proximity sensing can provide physical diversity to the system, it does not yet allow to reliably distinguish relevant objects from background objects.This work investigates a new approach to detecting relevant objects and human body parts based on acoustic holography. The approach is experimentally validated using a low-cost application-specific ultrasonic sensor system created from micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS). The presented results show that this system far outperforms conventional proximity sensors in terms of lateral imaging resolution and thus allows for more intelligent muting processes without compromising the safety of people working close to the robot. Based upon this work, a next step could be the development of a multimodal sensor systems to safeguard workers who collaborate with robots using the described ultrasonic sensor system.
Object-Based Trace Model for Automatic Indicator Computation in the Human Learning Environments

This paper proposes a traces model in the form of an object or class model (in the UML sense) which allows the automatic calculation of indicators of various kinds and independently of the computer environment for human learning (CEHL). The model is based on the establishment of a trace-based system that encompasses all the logic of traces collecting and indicators calculation. It is im-plemented in the form of a trace database. It is an important contribution in the field of the exploitation of the traces of apprenticeship in a CEHL because it pro-vides a general formalism for modeling the traces and allowing the calculation of several indicators at the same time. Also, with the inclusion of calculated indica-tors as potential learning traces, our model provides a formalism for classifying the various indicators in the form of inheritance relationships, which promotes the reuse of indicators already calculated. Economically, the model can allow organi-zations with different learning platforms to invest only in one traces Management System. At the social level, it can allow a better sharing of trace databases be-tween the various research institutions in the field of CEHL.
